Christmas Pageant and Luncheon

Homecoming
On October 4, 2009, we celebrated Homecoming.
There were many beautiful Chrysanthemums in the church and Parish Hall.
Nancy did her usual wonderful job of decorating the tables and Parish Hall.
Everyone brought tasty food, and very little was left over.
The children enjoyed the new playground and equipment!--
the vision toward which many of you have graciously donated funds.
A good time was had by all.
Homecoming pictures can be viewed (and downloaded) from the Photo Gallery page.

There have been two donations of greenery recently planted.
Kendra Hall donated the Magnolia tree which graces the left side of the church.
Kathryn McAuliffe donated the holly bushes and liriope grass
which edge the front corners of the church porch area.

Give thanks for these wonderful gifts.

......

Sunday School is in the Fall Semester
The lessons are from Cokesbury's.
Practice for the
Christmas Pageant has begun.
The plan is to alternate lesson and practice sessions, instead of intense practice later.
Anyone interested in helping with the Pageant, please contact Tracy Strange.
Any and all helpers are appreciated.

Everyone is encouraged to be thankful for their blessings every day!
Despite the economy most of us have more than those in any other country over the world.
Encourage all family members to put coins in the box when they feel thankful.

Children are encouraged to participate.
The Fall Intake will be November 1st and 8th.
Please use the envelopes in the back of the Church to send in your donation.
These funds will be sent to the Diocese and National UTO toward grants that help women and children around the world.
